In the first edition of the series from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, two World Boxing Association title belts were on the line as part of one of the best fight cards in the world since the return of boxing following the COVID-19 outbreak. The main card featured up-and-coming star like Frenci Fortunato and Kelvin King (managed by Gardner Payne), and Christian Thun ahead of the exciting headliners. Emanuel Torres, who is also managed by Payne, and Cleotis Pendarvis did battle for the WBA Fedecaribe Super Welterweight title in the co-main event before Alberto Palmetta (managed by Payne) and Tre'Sean Wiggins went head-to-head in the main event of the evening for the WBA International Welterweight title.



In the second edition of the series from the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, three Argentine born fighters headlined another loaded card. Alberto Palmetta (managed by Payne) returned to headline the event, as he faced veteran welterweight competitor Saul Corral, while Lucas Fernandez Leone fought his first fight in the United States against Fernando Diaz in the flyweight division. The main card also feature the debuts of young talents like Mirco Cuello (managed by Payne) and Elijah Seawright and the return of local veteran Kyle Harrell to the ring.




The third fight in the Payne Boxing Series will be a homecoming for Alberto Palmetta as the fight is held in Buenos Aries, Argentina on March 27.  Alberto will defend his WBA International Welterweight Title against Mexico’s Jose Herrera.  The Co Main Event features two upcoming fighters both with the toughest fight in their young careers.  Frency Fortunato (10-0) will face two-time Olympian and Argentina native, Alberto Melian for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Flyweight Championship.  


Also on the card will be Jose Ibarra making his television debut facing Ricardo Chavez and Mirco Cuello looking to continue his win streak against veteran Hector Gusman.  


The fight will be televised live on at 10 pm eastern on TUDN/Univision and TyC Sports.  It will also be live-streamed by TyC Sports Play.
